7:45 AM - Hike to Heal Led by Irreverent Warriors (Silkies Encouraged) Join our warrior community as we march from the VFW DC Headquarters to the US Capitol’s House Triangle for a press conference and “The Skull of Sacrifice” ceremony , a serving as a stark visual reminder of overprescription toll on our warrior community

8:30 AM - Press Conference at the House Triangle, hosted by Congressman Jack Bergman (MI-1), where GSF, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Disabled American Veterans, congressional leaders, veteran advocates, and surviving families will share personal testimonies and call for action.

12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Capitol Hill Roundtable expert-led discussion on veteran mental health reform and alternative treatment options. *Closed session for special attendees.

Join us the night before for a private screening of Medicating Normal.
